Meet new players and get gaming in Red Bull 5G Tournament

Freshers Week is on the horizon, and many of you will be excited about heading onto campus and discovering the thriving competitive gaming scene. If you want to get a head-start and a chance to win a trip to Japan, sign up for this week’s Red Bull 5G tournament.

This week the Red Bull 5G tournament is looking for the best teams for League of Legends, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Street Fighter V and Project CARS. It’s a great opportunity to get back into the swing of things if you’re a seasoned student, meet like-minded people from your university and see what it’s really like to play in front of a crowd. The best teams from the North and South will get the chance to play at the regional finals in Manchester and London, with the best going onto the national final in Birmingham.

You aren’t going to get a better excuse to get your friends involved and get practicing for your chance at the championship before the main season starts! All the details can be found at the Red Bull 5G website. Be quick as the tournaments are on:

You can search for your university in the list below to check if you are competing for North or South. While you’re there, you can find your society’s Facebook group and start getting to know your fellow players before you start. If you’re a single player interested in the team games, you will be matched into a gaming team upon sign up.
